What a bittersweet ending. The only thing that kept Myne from leaving couldn't be with her. She doesn't even have the remaining time, she had hoped to spend with her family, and Myne must be erased from history to protect the people she cared about. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure this was it. Despite the post credit sence the chance of getting a new season are pretty low. The fact that we have three season is already considered a miracle. I'm going to miss this series! 🤧

This just broke my heart. Its the 2nd family Myne has had to give up through manipulation of others. I still believe Sylvester could have told her what that pendant was actually for without revealing his identity. I believe because Ferdinand knows how well Myne is at negotiations they needed to force that adoption on Myne to limit her control of the opportunity to help and keep some contact with her family. Sylvester actually looked at Myne's parents and told them that they were an obstacle to Myne and he would have preferred to deal with them (put them to death? ) but couldn't because Myne would go berserk with her mannar... she went berserk with blessings magic out of pure relief that they wouldn't be executed! 😅

They didn't manipulate her...
She knew it would protect her, she just didn't know how. And she still had the choice to go through with it or not. If they wanted to manipulate her, they could have told her something to make her activate it sooner, but they basically told her to only use it if she's in danger.

And they all foresaw that danger but did nothing to prevent it. Ferdinand knew what the high Bishop was plotting, there was already enough evidence to prove the heavy-handedness of the Bishop and nobles against Myne. According to the hierarchy of that land Sylvester had all the power, all the authority to prevent this danger to Myne. They made the choose to let the danger play out putting Myne in a singular position where she would be grateful her parents were not executed. Manipulation!!!

What would you call it if for instance you are in a very challenging court case and your lawyer held onto a trump card that could get you not only acquitted but with compensation, instead he lets you sweat it out and then casually watches you sign an agreement that barely left you free but without your deserved compensation?

It doesn't matter how many times I watch this anime I still tear up at the end of this episode.

I watched the anime and i understand their financial situation but even the parent of poor family would do almost anything and everything to save their daughters. Meanwhile gunther and his family is still have decent life... myne could have earned more money through her usual inventions and made lot more money.

Alright the magicical items are costly... but i dont think its as costly that myne smart intellect cant recover through her genius inventions and products.

this hit harder than i thought. Guess it's time for the curtain of the finale to fall and a new journey to begin.
I felt the whole charm thing about being prepared to become the daughter sly was uncalled-for. Myne could have protected his family just fine with her massive mana, also it's not like that the yellow haired has tricks up his sleeves. Anyway, at the end of the day it all boils down to the stupidity of this most incredible hierarchy system in this world. A commoner attacking a pig that won't stop whining is illegitimate, while a upperclassman will get away just fine.
